Feel • Function • Flow
A dated kitchen and adjoining utility spaces redesigned to improve function and flow, creating a more practical and connected home for everyday family life.
Open-plan kitchen & boot room — Isle of Wight
The challenge
The kitchen felt dated and the transition into the boot room/laundry lacked flow. The downstairs toilet also felt disconnected from the rest of the space and needed to work better for everyday family life.
Before
The transformation
The kitchen was redesigned to work more effectively, with a boot room/laundry added to support the needs of the family and their pet. The downstairs toilet was transformed into a shower room, with the layout reconfigured to improve flow.
After
The result is a more practical, connected space that functions better, flows more naturally and supports the way the family lives every day.
